The Contract Development Unit provides contract oversight and assistance to contract sponsors -- troubleshooting issues that arise with contractors and serves as an ombudsman to service providers. In addition, CDU assists sponsors in the Informal Request for Proposals/Quotes (IRFP/Q) process in compliance with the District's requirements and provides District-wide Second Level Review and Approval for "low dollar value" contracts.
